FREE SATELLITE TELEVISION IN SHOW HOMES!

City Wireless has teamed up with Bell Express Vu to offer free Satellite television for show homes. This is available in up to four separate show homes of any builder that builds eighty homes or more per year. There is no charge for the install, and no monthly fee for the programming.  The equipment will be owned by City Wireless , and must be returned when it is no longer used.

MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS FEEL AT HOME

  There is a danger, of course, with putting Satellite Television in your show homes. Customers might drop by for just a quick peek, then get caught up watching a great show or hockey game in HD. They might even sit down and get comfortable.  If you’re not careful, they might even start to feel AT HOME!   Before you know it, they’ll be signing contracts, and causing all kinds of extra paper work!

  But, seriously, at home is how you want your customers to feel. It’s great to have your promotional video playing somewhere in the house too, but nothing makes somebody feel at home like catching his or her favorite show on high definition television! 

  With time shifting, you can catch shows in several different time zones. That favorite show might be on four or five times in different Canadian time zones.  Speaking of feeling at home: If your customer is from Nova Scotia , put on the local news channel from Halifax . Now they really feel at home! 

  HIGH DEFINITION is what makes satellite television stand out! People are purchasing HD TV in record numbers and want the best picture on as many channels as possible.  Satellite television from Bell , by far, provides the most high definition.

  We do, of course, request that satellite information be available in conjunction with this generous offer.  However, builders will be compensated for every activation.  To this end, City Wireless actively monitors our referrals to make sure builders receive credit for referrals.

SATELLITE TELEVISION WIRING REQUIREMENTS

  1)       Access Panel Outside House

 More often than not, builders run satellite wiring into the attic without an access panel on the outside of the house.  Outside access is critical because most customers prefer that an installer not go into their attic, and the majority of satellite install companies won’t go into the attic. It messes up the insulation and there is too much potential for causing damage and liability.

  2)       Eventual Dish Placement Will Be On South/South East Side of House

 If your customer will have Bell or Starchoice satellite (the only two legal alternatives), the dish we install would be aimed to about 129 degrees or 154 degrees respectively.   If possible, dishes are mounted on the side of the house.

  3)       Four Lines Should Be Run To Panel Box In Basement

 Bell High Definition and international programming requires four lines running to the panel box.  Even if the customer isn’t going to immediately order high definition or international programming, this should be in place for future needs.

  4)       Considerations for Condos

 Having your condo complex wired for satellite TV could make the difference between a sale or no sale!  Many customers considering condos already have satellite TV, and prefer it over cable.  Condos should definitely be pre-wired during construction to avoid a proliferation of dishes as people move in and start ordering satellite.  Having satellite pre-wiring does not prevent or exclude customers that prefer cable TV.  The key is to offer your customers choice.  Each condo complex is different, and we will provide a customized wiring spec and quote for your project.
